Panasonic’s IPS Alpha panel, widely regarded for its wide viewing angle as well as its fantastic ability to transmit light, is now better advanced with an energy-saving, ultra-bright LED backlight. Images no longer fade when you are viewing them from an angle, and the uniformly high-speed response, distributed abroad the full range, provides you with the crisp images you want and minimal afterglow. The IPS Alpha LED LCD displays excellent contrast and is a contributing factor in the display’s fashionably slim design.

LED screens create a high rate of brightness while consuming relatively small amounts of power. Panasonic’s highly efficient, best generation of LCD technology was brought forth with the use of LED technology for the backlight and then it was combined with the IPS Alpha panel, which is highly efficient at transmitting light. By maximizing the advantages that are inherent to this device, Panasonic has been able to optimize black reproduction while using far less energy.

It’s easy for you to view full-HD images by using the built in SD card slot. You can watch your photos and home videos, then show them off to your loved ones when you are ready. You just slide an SD Memory Card into the TV to view your photos and full-HD videos on the big screen.

Viera Link makes it easy to interlink your devices for seamless operation, with the simple use of an HDMI cable.

In Game Mode, the rapid image response gives you the ultimate home gaming experience. Your game will be displayed the way it was meant to be – lifelike! The action will feel so real you will forget you are sitting on your couch. This display produces the dark images in video games more clearly. Your video game has never looked or felt better!

Panasonic Viera TXL37D25B Review

Slim and attractive TVs are ten a penny, however the Panasonic Viera TXL37D25B seems like an exciting prospect from Panasonic with its LED LCD screen and 200Hz Intelligent Frame Creation pro and imporved motion resolution. The set also comes with VIERA Cast Internet Content and IPS panel, which should give the TV better than average viewing angles. So, does it live up to expectations?

The TV is a little bit different from the usual Panasonics and the unique design with its grooved look gives it a sense of depth. The TV has a silver chassis and is all situated in an ultra slim TV made possible as it is a LED edge light TV.

Panasonic Viera TXL37D25B HDMI

Panasonic hasn’t scrimped on the connections and the TV has 4 HDMI connections, as well as a number of others including Ethernet, two USB which allow for both media playback and can be used as a HDD PVR to pause and record programmes depending on the size of the disk.

The Panasonic also comes with a Freeview HD player, which works great with the excellent screen on the device. Obviously the set comes with Scart, VGA composite and a number of other jacks and inputs including an SD Card input for home video and cameras.

Panasonic Viera TXL37D25B Menu

The menus on the Panasonic are similar to other models and are easily adjusted, come in a clear and intuitive layout and offer a wide range of settings so you will be sure you have little or no confusion when setting your TV up to the optimum level. Everything from processing to contrast is covered and the set even allows for comprehensive saturation levels to be calibrated.

The TV performs quite well visually, which is good for a TV of its size. Viewing angles are quite decent and is good for a LCD panel, though contrast does take a bit of a hit. Blacks are quite good, but you can see the problems with the edge lit display and the uniformity of the set.

Panasonic Viera TXL37D25B Picture

The set artificially produces a 200Hz motion resolution which looks great during sports and other fast moving scenes. It however looks too much during slower images and looks unreal. Switching it off is one of the best options in such cases. Input lag was quite average for the set and video games are okay, though may seem a little unresponsive.

The set does do up-scaling of SD content to a good degree and is improved on some other Panasonics we tested. However, it can still look quite full of noise from time to time. HD looked as it should, though didn’t really surprise us and though it doesn’t look amazing out of the box a bit of tuning will get the 1080p screen performing at the best possible standard.

Overall the Panasonic is quite a good TV, but nothing special. Images are good, the set is stylish and to be honest it is a slight case of fashion over function.

This is an impressive and gorgeous 32-inch silver LCD television with LED Backlight, two high definition tuners, Freeview-HD, and Freesat HD.  The stylish silver colour offers a tasteful alternative to the regular black TVs you find on the market today.  This Panasonic Viera looks especially great in modern homes with stylish interior design.  This TV has outstanding picture quality, which is what we have come to expect from Panasonic.

PANASONIC VIERA TX-L32D28B-S: LED Backlight

LED backlight gives LCD televisions the picture quality they need to rival plasma TV sets.  With backlight, you will see the deep, inky blacks that give images their cinematic appeal.  LED backlight improves black levels as well as contrast and enables even brightness, a wider range of colours, longer life, and better energy efficiency.  If you are looking for cinema quality, this is the way to go.

PANASONIC VIERA TX-L32D28B-S: Freeview
Get ready to watch high definition TV for free with built in Freeview HD bringing you the best of BBC, ITV, and C4 in glorious high definition with no monthly fee or contract.  Freeview is a service provided to residents of the United Kingdom and is a collection of forty-eight digital TV channels and twenty-four digital music channels.  All channels are free.  For American readers, Freeview is similar to satellite or digital, only Freeview is free.  Transmitters deliver Freeview TV in the same way as American broadcast TV.  You simply need a DVR, DVD, non-recording TV receiver, or a TV such as this one with a built-in Freeview TV tuner.
PANASONIC VIERA TX-L32D28B-S: Freesat
Alongside Freeview, with the Freesat capability in this TV, you have access to even more channels.  Freesat is of course the free-to-air digital satellite, which serves the United Kingdom.  It is a great option to have another hundred HD channels with no months charge at your fingertips simply with the purchase of this television.

This is truly a beautiful TV with great benefits like WiFi, DLNA, and Skype functions.  It is in a class of its own in terms of beauty, picture, and design.

PANASONIC Viera TXL42D25B Review

Large slim TVs are increasingly common and the Panasonic Viera TXL42D25B
is one that fits the bracket. It is a large 1080p HD screened TV with an IPS LCD panel and edge light LED lights. This is all added to with a 200Hz Intelligent Frame Creation Pro motion resolution and Viera Cast Internet content – enough technology to wow the punters so.

The Panasonic Viera TXL42D25 itself is a very good looking set and has some typical Panasonic traits as well as some new tweaks. It is a grooved edged set and this creates a sense of depth. However it is also extremely slim and the chassis looks amazing on a wall.

PANASONIC Viera TXL42D25B Freeview HD

Panasonic has also added a Freeview HD offering inside the Panasonic Viera TXL42D25B and it is excellent to be able to watch once terrestrial TV channels in HD. The set also has 4 x HDMI ports for connecting all your gaming consoles and an array of other items to it for HD viewing as well as Scart VGA, SD Card ports and two USB ports which can be used to pause and record live TV with a USB card or HDD.

The Panasonic is also easily tweaked and the set comes with a wide variety of menu options and so can be adjusted to a high degree. Out of the box the set is quite average and has the typical high processed looking picture used to impress unknowing punters. However, the clear and intuitive system makes it easy to ensure you get a far more natural picture from the TV, which offers punchy dynamic images.

PANASONIC Viera TXL42D25B IPS Panel

The IPS panel ensures that viewing angles on the TV are excellent, however contrast is not and though blacks are quite good it is an uneven display with light more apparent in some areas than others – a problem with the edge light sort of TVs. Blacks do look pretty good, though are not up on the level of fully back light sets.

Motion capture is quite good and shadowing is quite low and nearly non-existent on the TV. This all means that the TV performs well for sports. It however looks over processed for slower programmes and the IFC Pro needs to be switched off. Video gaming does suffer average lag and looks disappointing on screen.

PANASONIC Viera TXL42D25B HDTV

Up-scaling on the TV is quite okay, though nothing spectacular and the TV does not eliminate noise. HD is around the average mark too and the Blu Ray and HD sources look good, but aren’t amazing.

Audio is also in the average to good range, though considering the slimness of the TV this is not expected.

Over all the Panasonic is a decent set and one we would recommend if you want a good looking quite capable TV.
