One of the more popular 46 inch widescreen LED televisions available today is the Samsung UE46C5800 LED televisions. This television features 1920 x 1080 resolution with a full HD display. It also features a picture in picture screen and 4 HDMI ports. Some of the more favoured features mentioned in consumer reviews is the picture quality and that the television set runs rather cool so the internal fan rarely kicks on. The device features several plug in connections and its lower power consumption. Other reported favourable aspects are the quality and design and the set is a good value for the money. The television has an attractive design, tons of features and is fairly simple to set up. Overall the reviews are positive for this model. The only consumer complaint found was the sound quality was not great. But nowadays so many people have surround sound in their homes, for most this isn’t an issue.

The Samsung UE46C5800 features a huge variety of items that makes this the ultimate multi functional television. This unit is enabled with the features and technology that allow you to playback digital audio, video and photos use the set as a computer and hook up a number of different devices to it. One of the most desirable features of any of these popular flat screen televisions is the versatility in where you can place it. While many may still opt to place a set like this on a stand or entertainment centre, one of the most favoured aspects to the design is that it can be mounted on a wall which is a total space saver.

One of the disadvantages stated about this model is that the television doesn’t automatically switch from one input to the next like some of the earlier Samsung sets do. For the total couch potato or for someone who doesn’t know how a remote functions this could be an issue but doesn’t seem to be a major one. There are a few complaints regarding the sound quality and the difficulty in setting up the network or internet features. The only other thing really worth mentioning however this is common for any style of these wall mountable televisions is that it is somewhat cumbersome hooking up cables and cords to the back of these sets.

In conclusion, if you are looking to upgrade your television set or add an extra one to your home, this is a good quality, high functioning device. This Samsung is well made and with any well built device such as this you should get a warranty with your purchase. In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, generally the retail outlet will offer and extended warranty at an extra charge. Of course before deciding on this purchase do some research on the item to ensure that it’s the size and model you want and that you can live with the minor imperfections in the device. Samsung is a reputable brand and have been making high quality audio and video devices for years. This LED television should be no exception.

If you are looking to purchase a new television for your home, you should consider the Samsung UE32C6530 LED TV. Some of the more favoured and ideal features of LED style television devices is their slim, space-saving style, which makes it easy to mount on the wall should the consumer choose to do so. This model, not unlike many others, has superior contrast and graphics, giving this television a high-quality, sharp, vivid picture. The majority of consumers who own and have reviewed this product have given exceptionally high marks to the sound, as well as to the picture quality. They have also remarked on the ease of set up. This set includes other features, such as internet connectivity and Freeview; most reviewers state that these are relatively easy to set up as well. Now we will discuss some of the product features.

This device, not unlike many similar Samsung LED models, offers features such as ability to connect to the internet, which eliminates the need for any other home computing device. The design and appearance of this set is absolutely breathtaking. This model sports a crystal design with a high-gloss, polished finish. Aside from being a high-functioning device, it is appealing to the eye as well. With twice the resolution and detail of a normal HDTV, this full HD, 1080P television delivers vivid colour and detail. This multi-functional device can help with additional tasks such as transferring photos, music and videos from your PC or mobile device.

Many consumers find the Samsung UE32C6530 to be a good value for the price. And while it has received favourable reviews for sound and picture quality, there are a few disadvantages to this unit. There are some comments posted regarding the inability to turn off the screen. While Samsung has clearly stated that this is a design flaw, this could prove to be a safety hazard. Some reviewers complain of difficulty getting the television to play certain video files. Others state they are having trouble going from watching television shows to watching DVDs and then back to television; something regarding having to change the set back to TV after watching DVDs. This could, quite possibly, be another design flaw. Regardless of all the reviews, good and bad, this model has been discontinued. There will likely be a few remaining out there on various internet sites if you are still interested in purchasing this particular model.

While the more reliable reviews are posted by confirmed customers who have purchased this device, be sure when researching the item to read up on it as much as possible. While this product may have a few pitfalls here and there, overall, consumers have responded favourably to this set and how it performs. Try and focus on the overall ratings for this device versus a few bad reviews from disgruntled customers. There are bound to be a few of those in every bunch.

Samsung UE32C5100 Review

Full back light sets offer a more pleasing alternative to edge light or LCD sets in watching terms . The TVs are covered in lights behind the image and this in turn means they provide a better and more well light balanced image. The Samsung U32C5100 is one of these TVs and offers a wide range of beautiful pictures. Add to this the fact it is a 1080p screen with a 100Hz refresh rate and we should be in for a delightful viewing experience.

The Samsung certainly looks like a good looking TV and has Samsung’s usual black screen with a red hint running through it and a clear edging. It is also quite a slim TV and is only around half an inch thick. This all bodes well for the TV and it is an aesthetically attractive device.

Samsung UE32C5100 Connectivity

Connectivity is also strong on the TV and it has 4xHDMI ports and a smorgasbord of other options from Scart to VGA, to composite to audio and also comes with a USB port for watching footage on – which is an essential for a TV like this. These are mostly accessible from the sides and so the TV can be easily mounted with no connection problems

The TV also ha SD Freeview, which is fine, but HD would be a nice little boost for the Samsung. The Anynet+ feature is also a great addition and allows you to use only one remote with the TV as you can link other devices to the set in an easy manner and save on couch space.

Samsung UE32C5100 Viewing

Fortunately the TV lives up to the usual Samsung standards and the set is an excellent one in this regard offering great viewing angles in HD. The refresh rate is also great and the processing power enough, though the Samsung UE32C5100
doesn’t look over polished with it on. There is a little lag evident, however the contrast and the wonderful range of colours make it a fantastic TV to watch. The colours make the images punchy and HD is a great plus. SD also looks great and the TV noticeably reduces noise on the standard definition images from DVDs or from its own Freeview players.

Samsung UE32C5100 Menu

Samsung has also included some nice menu features and it all seems quite intuitive and nicely finished for use with the remote control – which maybe is a little lacklustre as it feels a little plastic reliant.

Audio is good on the TV and there is a certain amount of bass, though the mids are very clear. We would still advise a speaker system if you want the grumble of a good film to come through.

We really enjoyed the Samsung and it is one of the best in its class without doubt.

Samsung UE40C5800 Review

There is a definite Samsung style and the Samsung UE40C5800 certainly sticks to it in most quarters. The Samsung is a good looking set, with quite a average sized bezel around it and a range of nice features, which add a bit of spark to it. The TV has the dark red colour which we associate with Samsung sets, though has a double pronged, stand, which is a step away from the usual single stemmed holster.

Samsung UE40C5800 Connections

The TV itself is a full HD 1080P one with a LED backlight disposure. This means the lights are at the side to improve on the LCD screen, but it is essentially a LED TV. The TV also is a well connected one and has 4xHDMI ports, a Scart, USB with Movie Viewer – meaning you can watch videos from USB sources such as Div X and AVI on the TV. This is an obvious bonus and means it is easy to transfer files from you TV for play. Samsung have also given the TV a VGA port, composite slots and a few other connections. These are mainly at the side of the TV and make for easy connection.

Samsung UE40C5800 Anynet +

The TV comes with a number of nice features and Samsung has included the AnyNet+ feature, meaning you can connect you other multimedia devices and use them in conjunction with the remote control Samsung supply with the set.

Freeview HD is also included, which is a nice addition and unlike many sets in this class, you can watch Freeview at a 1080p resolution, which really is great. The TV’s Hyper Real technology however ensures that the set produces a range of very dynamic colours and so is great for punchy pictures. This really comes into its own in the movie arena and HD images from Blu Ray sources look great.

Samsung UE40C5800 Wide Colour Enhancer

The Samsung UE C5100 also comes with a Wide Colour Enhancer for a better range of colours and automatically adjusts the TV’s light settings to the settings of the room, which is great for evenings when you sit down before dusk and have to wait as the lighting levels change.

Contrast levels are good and blacks are quite deep, though they can be a little smudged in places, as is the case with edge light TV. Colours, though as we’ve said are dynamic and the processor in the TV, keeps everything moving at a nice fast rate and there is little problem when watching busy scenes such as sports.

The input lag is quite average and when connecting a console there is ghosting to an extent and it is not as sharp as it could be, though it is nothing out of the ordinary. Sound is also okay, maybe even better than average for a TV like this.

Overall, this is a good Samsung, though not a great Samsung. However, for its price, which is excellent, it is a great TV.  Get the Samsung UE40C5800

Samsung UE46C5100 Review

Samsung is well known for creating some of the best TVs on offer to consumers today. The company’s low, mid and high range sets all come with a wide range of technology and even better pictures generally – however, there are exceptions to this rule and the Samsung UE46C5100 will hope not to be one.

The Samsung UEC5100 is a fully led backlight 1080p TV and offers a range of quality features and Samsung innovations among its other stock features.

Samsung UE46C5100 Connectivity

The TV is also well connected – always a good start – and has 4xHDMI, VGA, composite, Scart and a number of other outputs and also includes a USB connection for media playback of all the familiar file types, including MKV, Div X and a number of others.

Samsung have also added wireless connectivity with the addition of DLNA. This allows streaming of media straight from a number of sources to the set, including phone and music players.

Samsung UE46C5100 Features

Samsung has also included Anynet + which allows the TV’s remote to be used with all the other devices in your living room and so frees up remotes and the confusion of having to use different ones for each item. The TV also comes with Freeview, though we would have preferred the HD equivalent of this to really add spark to the set and make it stand out.

Samsung UE46C5100 Picture

Image wise the TV is up to Samsung’s usual quality. The LED backlighting offers a wide and well-balanced screen with great blacks and nice contrast. The images are subject to some motion blur at times though this is hardly visible and the use of the HyperReal function certainly ensures the TV is up to the pace.

It also comes wide colour enhancer to ensure there are a huge range of colours with good to very good saturation and very accurate colours – this picture quality certainly pushes the TV well and above the average TV of this price or model range.

SD is also sorted and the TV manages to up-scale quite well and there is little definite noise. Lag is a little evident, though is still slightly above average.

The set is also much improved in the audio area in terms of sound and distortion, relative to the older B model of TV. This is a huge plus considering the lacklustre quality of the older set.

So, how do we rate the Samsung UEC5100? The TV offers a good selection of technology, while it doesn’t lose sight of the ball and also creates brilliant images in both HD and SD.

The Samsung UE22C4000 includes many of Samsung’s latest innovations and packages into a television that is suitable for bedrooms, flats, or apartments. What I appreciate about this TV is the attention to contrast and colour detail. I’m an artist so I appreciate when the movie I’m watching stays true to its colour. This TV allows you to have a true home movie experience no matter what size room you are in.

Samsung UE22C4000 Review: Mega Dynamic Contrast

Simply put, contrast is the relationship between the light and dark areas on your TV screen. Let’s say for example that you were watching TV on a screen with low contrast, this would give poor detail in the light and dark areas. This is due to the black and white actually being shades of gray. So, having a TV with high contrast will give you truly black blacks and white whites. The dynamic contrast refers to the difference between the blackest black and whitest white at any time, not necessarily on the screen for the same time. For example, imagine the scene you are watching is quite dark. This would mean you would get more contrast detail in that dark image. We’ve all watched movies on our old TV’s where you couldn’t make out the picture during dark scenes. Mega dynamic contrast solves that problem.

Samsung UE22C4000 Review: Wide Colour Enhancer Plus
The exclusive Wide Colour Enhancer technology delivers more brilliant colours, even in bright areas of the picture where blues and greens are washed out on conventional screens. The system presents a wider colour spectrum and four times as many colour gradations, showing you true colours. You will be able to experience the fresh green of Spring and the intense blue of a Summer sky with this television.

Samsung UE22C4000 Review: HDMI Ports

This TV includes two HDMI ports. You only need one cable to connect your TV to other audio and video sources. The HDMI connector allows you to import content without having to compress. This makes it so easy to show off pictures and video of my children right on the TV for everyone to see.

Samsung UE40C6510 Review

This Samsung UE40C6510 model 6000 series is a neat TV. I got the 40″ model and its absolutely stunning. I was a bit concerned about the white colour and was thinking of the black or brown model. They are all identical in specification other than the colour. Surprisingly the white one, which is stunning to look at. It has a wood trim look, so it looks retro and fits our modern remodel.

Samsung UE40C6510 Review: Freeview HD
Get ready to watch high definition TV for free with built in Freeview HD
bringing you the best of BBC, ITV, and C4 in glorious high definition with
no monthly fee or contract. Freeview is a service provided to residents of
the United Kingdom and is a collection of forty-eight digital TV channels
and twenty-four digital music channels. All channels are free. For
American readers, Freeview is similar to satellite or digital, only Freeview
is free. Transmitters deliver Freeview TV in the same way as American
broadcast TV. You simply need a DVR, DVD, non-recording TV receiver,
or a TV such as this one with a built-in Freeview TV tuner.

Samsung UE40C6510 Review: Internet TV
There is a lot of buzz about TV’ s that are Internet enabled and for good
reason. Televisions have always been home entertainment devices and the
Internet has increasingly become a part of the entertainment experience.
Internet Home is a gateway to extend your viewing experience. It has access
to BBC iPlayer, LoveFilm and Muzu.TV, just to name a few. The marriage
between flat screen and computer screen was a natural one. I appreciated
how easy it was to hook up the TV and begin connecting to the Internet
through it.

Samsung UE40C6510 Review: AllShare

This allows wireless connections between your new television, digital devices, and your computer. It was so easy to sync our digital files with our new TV and at an amazing price. This TV is beautiful, the sound is crisp, and it was easy to set up. I love the internet capability and the ease of sharing our file with our home computer. Check this TV out!

Samsung UE32C5800 Review

Samsung’s UE32C5800 is a TV the company will hope will please the most enthusiastic all round user. The TV looks well, is a nice slim set and comes with a range of decent technology which will keep most users quite happy.

The TV of course is a 1080p edge light set, which means there are edge lights around it, but it is essentially a LCD TV.  This allows it to be slim and it is.

Samsung UE32C5800 Super-Slim Aesthetic

The TV is only 1.5inches deep, ensuring it is quite slim, even for an edge light LED TV. The set itself has the typical Samsung styling of a black bezel with a red hue and see through edging and so looks stylish and at home on the stand or hung up on a wall. Samsung has once again created a simple but stylish set.

The Samsung UE32C5800 is ideal for hanging due to the placement of the connections and the USB, Scarts and a number of HDMI ports are available for side connection, as well as some at the back. The TV also comes with the USB Movie Viewer technology we would expect from it. This allows users to access a range of file types through the TVs EPG system and play them, as well as allows users to listen to music and view photos. Though, it would be advised to get an external sound system for the former as the Samsung UE32C5800′s speakers are quite average.

Samsung UE32C5800 Freeview HD

Samsung has also added Freeview HD to be included on the TV, which makes it ideal for the digital changeover. This allows top quality 1080p images to be seen through terrestrial channels and is a nice plus.

Samsung’s Anynet+ feature allows owners to pair up a number of other pieces of technology with the set. This decreases the needs for filling you chair with remotes as Samsung’s suffices.

Samsung UE32C5800 Hyper Real Technology

The Hyper Real Technology included in the set is also great and really creates a smooth, if sometimes slightly processed look for movies and heavier images which would otherwise maybe slow down the TV. Of course this can be turned off, and there are a number of settings for those who wish to optimise the TV to their preferences.

Fortunately the Wide Colour Enhancer really offers excellent colours and the TV also includes a feature, where it auto adjusts to light settings depending on the light. The Samsung UEC 5800 is a great set on the outset and fortunately offers good contrasts and nice shadow detail in the general scheme of things.  BluRay is also good and we would certainly say it is among the best in class. The up-scaling of standard definition sources is also quite good and non HD Freeview channels and DVD’s are certainly improved.

We found the TV to be quite good for gaming, though not amazing and there was some visible lag. Sound was okay, though it is a slim set and we would advise a set of speakers for a true movie experience.

We do like the Samsung UE5800 however and would certainly recommend it considering its relatively high spec and relatively low price. The Samsung UEC5800
is now available on Amazon.co.uk.

Samsung UE40C5100 Review

Samsung’s combination of excellent technology alongside a number of other well built features has really seen it prosper in the mobile phone world. The company offers consumers sets with excellent technology that offer excellent pictures as a common happening. The Samsung UE40C5100 is the companies attempt at doing this in a mid range TV – so how do Samsung fare?

On paper the UE40C5100 does well. It is a 1080p fully back light set with a 100Hz refresh rate and so seems very competitive for its price.

It is also a good looking TV of the typical Samsung vein, with a nice black screen with a hint of red and a clear surrounding area.

Samsung UE40C5100 Connectivity

The Samsung comes with a wide number of connections and we can’t complain with 4 X HDMI ports on the TV, as well as a VGA, composite, Scart lead audio inputs and out puts among many others as well as a USB. The great thing about the USB is the wide range of options for playback that comes with it. Samsung allow MKV, Div X and a wide range of other file types to be played back with the TV.

This is only the edge of the technology on the Samsung and it comes with a wide range of features of which many TVs would be impressed to have. Samsung has included Freeview as a starter on the TV, which looks good, though with the excellent TV spec on screen a HD version of the Freeview would have been welcome. The Anynet+ feature also cuts down on the amount of remote controls necessary as the TV can be used with all the other devices remotes plugged into it.

Samsung UE40C5100 Images

Imaging is always going to be the big factor with this TV and luckily the Samsung manages to do well here with the TVs specs coming to prominence in this area. The LED back light set offers a great balance and great uniformity of light and is far better than most other types of set in this area. This all means colours are bright and images look punchy and dynamic. The motion blur on the set is also quite limited and the TV runs quite smoothly thanks to the processing power caused by the HyperReal engine.

Samsung UE40C5100 Menus

Colours fortunately are also of excellent quality and this is thanks to the Wide Colour Enhancer on the Samsung UE40C5100 provided by Samsung. This means there are a wide range of colours and these represent very accurate imaging out of the box – which is always nice. The facilities for settings are quite nice and just like the TVs menu are quite fulfilling to use.

HD looks fantastic and that doesn’t surprise us as Samsung have a penchant for this. Up-scaling of standard definition is also excellent, though there is a little noise evident at times.

As regards gaming the TV is quite good, though there is some lag to be seen at times, though most people will be happy with the TV for this purpose. Audio is also quite decent and much better than most other sets provide.

Overall this TV is a great all rounder and one we have no hesitation to recommend

The newest Samsung LED TV is the latest in its generation of slim televisions. This unit comes packed full of fantastic features including built-in Freeview HD and Internet Home. This TV is just under 30mm in depth making it one of the thinnest full 1080p high definition television sets in the world.

Samsung UE32C6510 Review: Freeview

I appreciated how easy it was to hook up the TV and begin connecting to the Internet through it.

Samsung UE32C6510 Review: 100Hz Motion Plus Technology
Motion compensating technologies are designed to reduce motion blur in sports and simultaneously reduce the jerky motion seen in camera pans. The video engine adds extra frames between each frame to smooth out this motion. The television’s processor is constantly trying to anticipate what the next scene will look like. Very high-tech!

In short, this is a gorgeous TV. I love the silver colour model especially for its modern look that is different from everyone else’s. This TV is a great package with a competitive price, fabulous feathers, and outstanding design.
